Interview with the Two Founders of Kapselwelt, Wolfgang and Norbert Huber
Hello Wolfgang, hello Norbert. Could you tell us in one sentence what you do at Kapselwelt?
N.: “We mainly sell empty capsules that our customers can fill themselves with herbs, dietary supplements, or vitamins.”
W.: “…and we also supply pharmacies, clinics, research institutions, medical practices, the optical industry, and many other sectors with small and large quantities.”
What makes Kapselwelt special?
W.: “First of all: experience. We have been offering our products online for more than 25 years, which means we’ve built up extensive knowledge about capsules. We were also the first company in Germany to offer such a wide range of empty capsules and capsule-filling devices directly to consumers – without selling dietary supplements ourselves. This clear specialization is what made it possible to build such a broad portfolio.”
N.: “And this is something we’re proud of as well: we sell exclusively through our own online shop – not through platforms like Amazon or eBay. The customer’s money, our money, and every tax euro stays in the country.”
Why should customers buy from you?
N.: “Quite honestly: because you can reach us with your questions and requests. Whether you’re a business customer or a private individual – we’re available by phone during working hours. When you call us, you speak to people who actually work with the products and know them well. No call center, no bot, no AI. Just competent advice and order processing by phone, email, or through our shop.”
W.: “We’re also strong supporters of Europe and try to include as many European-made products in our range as possible. That’s good for all of us. Thanks to our small and dynamic organization, we can often respond flexibly to special requests. With our European products we’re not always the cheapest – but we are fairly priced and reliable.”
What do you wish for the future of Kapselwelt?
W.: “I hope we continue to have as many loyal long-term customers as we do today. And that, as a small family business, we can remain a provider that offers not only excellent product quality but also genuine service, expertise, and added value – even in the face of huge competition. That’s not something you easily find elsewhere.”
N.: “Of course we’ll keep moving forward, testing new products and listening carefully when customers bring us new ideas and wishes. Our offer has a future!”
