Our vegan PULLULAN capsules are manufactured to high-quality European pharmaceutical standards. They are produced from plant-based ingredients, using only poly-maltotriose, guar gum, algae extract, acetic acid, and purified water. Unlike conventional vegetarian capsules, PULLULAN capsules are not produced through chemical modification, but rather through the natural fermentation of the raw materials with a strain of the microfungus Aureobasidium pullulans. The fungal cells are then removed by microfiltration, the filtrate is heat-sterilized, and pigments and other impurities are eliminated.
Pullulan is non-genetically modified, considered a safe, non-allergenic raw material by the European Food Safety Authority, and suitable for vegan diets. Pullulan has a strong barrier property against oxygen, meaning that capsules made from it offer 250 times better protection against oxidation than conventional vegetarian capsules.
The snap-in closure of the capsules holds the two capsule parts together and prevents unwanted leakage of the filling material. The capsules are tasteless and can be filled with all conventional manual and automatic capsule filling machines.

- FILLING: Only fill the empty capsules with substances whose effects you are familiar with. Do not fill the gelatin capsules with (aqueous) liquids, as they will dissolve before use.
- STORAGE: Store the empty capsules at 15–25 °C if possible and keep them away from sunlight and moisture.
- SAFETY: Keep bags and gelatin capsules away from children under three years of age, as there is a risk of suffocation when playing with them.

With the separated version, the capsules are delivered already opened, with tops and bottoms in separate bags. This saves time during filling, provided our K100 Standard, K400 Standard, K100 Premium, or K400 Premium capsule filling machines are used simultaneously.
