DR capsules are purely plant-based and suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets. The empty capsules are allergen- and gluten-free, produced without genetic engineering, and free of plasticizers and preservatives.
The starting materials for the delayed-release vegetarian capsules are cellulose (wood fibers) and gellan gum, a polysaccharide produced from plants. Since the capsules contain no animal-derived ingredients, they comply with kosher and halal regulations.
The snap-in closure of the capsules holds the two capsule parts together and prevents unwanted leakage of the filling material. The capsules are tasteless and can be filled with all conventional manual and automatic capsule filling machines.

- Only fill empty capsules with substances whose effects you are familiar with. Do not fill the gelatin capsules with (aqueous) liquids, as they will dissolve before use.
- Store empty capsules at 15–25 °C if possible and keep them away from sunlight and moisture.
